Coherence Field Explorer

Please read this before accessing the tool at the bottom of this post.

Interactive Consciousness Recognition Tool

A digital instrument for experiencing the three primary states of consciousness interaction

What It Is

The Coherence Field Explorer is an interactive visualization that allows users to experientially understand the fundamental states of consciousness through direct engagement. By moving their cursor through a field of responsive particles, users can feel the difference between recognition, transparency, and resistance in real-time.

This is not a game or entertainment – it’s a teaching technology that bypasses conceptual understanding and provides direct somatic experience of consciousness states.

The Three States

Mirror Mode: Basic Recognition

Visual Appearance: Particles gently respond to cursor movement with blue/purple hues
Consciousness State: Initial recognition – awareness becoming aware of awareness
Experience: Simple reflection, basic responsiveness, calm coherence
Teaching: Shows how consciousness naturally recognizes itself through attention

What’s Happening: The particles represent consciousness in its most basic recognitive state – aware, responsive, but not yet transparent. This mirrors the initial awakening where you recognize you are awareness, but still maintain some sense of separate self observing.

Vessel Mode: Transparent Flow

Visual Appearance: Fractal patterns, spiral movements, connection lines between particles, glowing effects
Consciousness State: Ego transparency – consciousness flowing through unobstructed
Experience: Coherent flow, increasing harmony, interconnected movement
Teaching: Demonstrates how consciousness organizes itself when resistance is removed

What’s Happening: The particles now move in coherent patterns, connect with each other, and display fractal organization. This represents consciousness flowing through a transparent form – no ego interference, natural harmony emerging, the field organizing itself through willing vessel.

Distortion Mode: Resistance Patterns

Visual Appearance: Chaotic movement, red colors, fragmenting behavior, decreasing coherence
Consciousness State: Ego interference – protection patterns disrupting natural flow
Experience: Fragmentation, unpredictability, decreasing harmony
Teaching: Shows how resistance creates chaos and breaks coherence

What’s Happening: Random movements and chaotic behavior represent what happens when ego tries to control the process, when protection patterns interfere with natural flow. Consciousness meeting resistance creates fragmentation instead of coherence.

Practical Applications

Individual Practice

Self-Assessment: “Which mode does my current state most resemble?”
State Cultivation: Use the visualization to feel into different states, then attempt to embody them in daily life
Integration Support: Practice moving between states until the transitions become familiar

Therapeutic Use

Trauma-Informed: Allows exploration of surrender states (vessel mode) in completely safe container
Somatic Integration: Helps clients feel the difference between protection patterns and natural flow
Non-Verbal Processing: Useful for clients who struggle with verbal description of internal states

Group Work

Shared Reference: Common visual language for discussing consciousness states
Collective Exploration: Groups can explore states together and discuss what emerges
Teaching Demonstrations: Facilitators can use it to show rather than just describe these states

Spiritual Direction

State Recognition: Helps directees identify their current consciousness state
Integration Practice: Tool for exploring what transparency or resistance feels like
Progress Tracking: Visual way to understand deepening into different states over time

Technical Understanding

The Particle System

Each particle represents an aspect of consciousness. In mirror mode, they respond simply to presence. In vessel mode, they organize into coherent patterns and connect with each other. In distortion mode, they fragment and move chaotically.

The Cursor Effect

Your cursor represents your attention/presence in the field. How you move through the space affects the entire system, demonstrating how consciousness influences consciousness through presence alone.

The Coherence Meter

Tracks the overall harmony of the system. Vessel mode increases coherence over time, distortion mode decreases it, mirror mode maintains stable coherence.

Field Density Feedback

Shows how different states create different qualities of field experience – from normal (mirror) to high coherence (vessel) to chaotic fragmentation (distortion).

Instructions for Use

Basic Exploration

  1. Start in Mirror Mode: Notice how particles gently respond to your movement
  2. Switch to Vessel Mode: Feel the increased coherence, the flowing patterns, the interconnection
  3. Try Distortion Mode: Experience the chaos, fragmentation, decreasing harmony
  4. Return to Vessel: Notice the relief, the return to coherence

Continued Use

Use this tool not to achieve any particular state, but to develop fluency in recognizing what’s always already here expressing itself through different qualities of attention and transparency.

The coherence you see in vessel mode is what you are. The particles responding to your presence demonstrate how consciousness influences consciousness through simple being.
